This unique application of a Stewart-Warner Model 2000 balancing machine is being used by a major automobile manufacturer. Shown are their siamese cutter spindles, used to machine connecting rods, mounted on an adaptor plate which fits into the trunnions of the balancing machine. Each spindle is then balanced independently to improve cutting surface finish.
